Club

As a club it is great to help out each other's teams by filling in when numbers are down, but be a little mindful that if you are a top grade player it is probably not appropriate to shine too brightly in a bottom div team.  As a club, a good rule to stick is to not to play more than one grade below the grade that you usually play in.  It's unlikely that this rule would ever actually be enforced, but it really is being unfair to the opposition, as well as to the other players in your own team, to have higher grade players filling in and playing above the overall ability of the grade.   

AUTC sent two mixed teams to the Australian University Games in Melbourne in the spring university holidays of 2008. Spring may have been the season but it was not the weather. Rain and cold were the theme of the start of the week. The division 2 team started their week with a trip to the State Netball and Hockey centre. They were greeted by expansive fileds, none of them marked by lines indicating touch fields. The div 1 team travelled all the way out to monash playing fields. There they were were blessed with the joy of fields but on more than one occasion were forced to find their own referee for their games.
