Beach touch

The new date for Beach touch has been confirmed!!

Sunday 18^th Feb!!

8:45 for a 9am start!

So if you haven’t already get a team organised and have an awesome day in the sand and (hopefully) sun and with many awesome people!!

ALSO due to the date change there will be some teams short of players so if you want to play but don’t have a team OR you have a whole team you would like to put in email chrissi at: prissichrissi@hotmail.com

Waite Finals!!

Game times for the last round before finals are now on the website.

Players will need to have played and signed on for 3 games to be eligible for the finals. Also, while casual subs have been permitted during the season, players will only be eligible to play in one team for finals.

I also ask that as we approach the pointy end of the season that players remember to respect each other and the referee and to enjoy the game.

A reminder on how the finals will work, grades will be split into a "top four", "bottom four".

For the semis 1v4 and 2v3, 5v8 and 6v7. The winners of these games will then each progress to their respective grand final. Only last placed team in the divs with odd numbers (C/D, E/F and Junior) will miss out for the finals. Thanks to the wooden spooners, my apologies that you will miss out.

Good luck to you all, I hope everyone has a great last minor round game next Thursday, and then the GF will be on Thursday 1st March.

Summer EOS

For all of those that have played their hearts out during the summer season and/or for those that want to catch up with friends and team mates for a night of awesomeness, the summer EOS is the place to be!

Summer touch has finished calling

But please don't shed a tear

Cause this means we can all go bowling

To celebrate another year

There can be no celebration without a theme

So come dressed as your favourite team

Wear your favoured uniform

And the night is bound to go till dawn!

AMF Woodville is the place to be

At 6:30pm i'm sure you'll see

So come one come all

• Prices include 2 games, a drink and nibbles!

***Referees get in for free! That’s right folks! If you have reffed 5 or more games at Waite in the 2011/2012 summer season you can enjoy the night for free!***

Quiz night!!

This year we have many members of AUTC (12 in fact!!!) who have been picked to represent SA in Touch at NTL’s (National Touch League). They are spread out in 2 teams, the womens opens and mixed opens. Congratz guys and gals!

There is a significant cost to those going away for this awesome experience so until they go away at the start of March we will be fundraising to help cover some of these costs. So, over the next 6 weeks please support us in the BBQs that will be held.

The Quiz Night is being held on Saturday night 18th of Feb at the Goodwood Community Centre! Come along and demonstrate your superior knowledge of useless facts! Tables of 10 for $10 per person. What an awesome night to be had for all! Flyer attached.

So get behind your local touch players and help them achieve their awesome goals!

O’week Volunteers!!

So the start of a new uni year is almost upon us!! As such we require some of our uni members to help us man our O’week stall to try and get new members into the club!

We have a desk for the 20-22 Feb (Monday to Wednesday) and would love it if we could get some volunteers to help sit at the desk and talk up the club. Even an hour or two would be awesome and a big help. If you are willing to help give back to this awesome club please email Tess at tess.leahy@student.adelaide.edu.au

Please Help out! Otherwise poor Tess will be all alone!!!
