A digest chock full of goodness this week:

Pub Crawl
 
The annual AUTC pub crawl is upon us! Organised by the uni games gang, this will be a fundraiser for them, as well as a chance for them to start honing their drinking skills for the uni games shenanigans.  So come on out and really get to know your team mates…
 
Starting Friday July 16, 6pm at UniBar. SA Challenge presentations will be made at 6:30pm, after which the crawl will crawl on to other as yet unspecified locations. 
 
Pay just $20 for a snazzy pub crawl T-shirt which will entitle you to any drinks discounts organised on the night as well increase your appeal to the opposite sex by 200%*. To buy one, head to the links provided below. Order this week to pick up your shirt from training – any later orders will not be available until the night itself.

AUSA First Aid Course
 
Message from AUSA below:
 
We are looking at offering a Senior First Aid Course at the University within the next 2 months. The course will run for 2 days and, if needed, we can look at having it on a weekend. The cost for a group is around $1400, so the more we get the cheaper it is!!

City Touch Wet Weather Policy
 
Games may be postponed or cancelled due to inclement weather throughout the winter season. Please check the City Touch website on the day of the games, and be aware that the fields may be deemed too soggy to play on after heavy rain.

SMSs from AUSA
 
AUTC has the capability to send SMSs to members through the UniOne system (the system you use to pay your fees). AUTC will use this feature to contact members at times when direct communication is required, e.g. if games have been cancelled at late notice. The SMS title will be ‘AUSA’.  General communication of events, etc, will continue via email. If you do not receive the SMSs, or do not wish to receive them, you should log in to the UniOne system and update your mobile phone number details accordingly.

AUTC Playing Tops
 
Playing tops are here! They’ve finally arrived so you can really look part of your team now.
To purchase tops, go to the UniOne site (link below) and select the Playing Tops product, choose your style and size. 
 
Tops can be collected at any training on Sunday mornings, or upon prior arrangement with your coach who may bring it out to your games if you ask nicely. Alternatively, you can purchase a playing top with postage ($10) and it will be posted to your address.

Referee Course
 
City touch is running a Level 1 Referee Course on June 19, starting at 9:30am. Email jo.waugh@hotmail.com by Friday if you are interested in this. If you have already registered your interest with me, you do not need to again. AUTC will pay for the course if you intend to referee regularly afterwards.
