Summer Awards
Men's/Women's Team AWARDS - PLEASE VOTE
If you play in either of the men's teams on Tuesdays at city touch, can you organise amongst yourselves to do a team vote at the game this Tuesday and arrange for someone to forward the outcome to Belinda belinda@autouch.org.au after the game.
Please take a vote for:

MOST IMPROVED
Girls, we can either do the same or we'll let DJ vote. That can be decided on Tuesday.
Medals for the above will be handed out at the (yet to be decided) End of Summer Season do.

State League 2010
Eastern Stingrays trials for Men’s and Women’s State League 2010 are being held this Sunday coming and the one after too. See attached poster below for details andfollow this link to register your interest in playing or becoming assistant coach to either team.

Next week is that time of year for uni-goers! We need some student types to sit at the AUTC desk during O-week at Adelaide Uni and help lure new members into the club. Contact Mel if you can offer any of your time, even if it’s just a couple of hours!

AUTC Committee Meeting Minutes

Beach touch
We had perfect weather down at Henley Beach yesterday for the sandiest competition in town. By all accounts everyone had a fun day – despite the annoying sweat/suncream/sand combo that inevitably covers all parts of the body after desperate diving efforts.
The Best Dressed Team Award was given to the Chinese Tigresses who brought a bit of feline prowess the field.
The Women’s Grand Final was played between Gregan’s Grogans and Hot Custard with Hot Custard taking out the prize.
The Men’s Grand Final followed straight after and was a battle between Marty Green and the Baywatch Experience (sans Marty Green) and Hot Custard. Marty Green and the Baywatch Experience got up in the end to take home the prize money.
I am told we raised a bit of money for the Heart Foundation – we will have to wait for them to count the change out before I can pass on exactly how much!
Thanks to everyone who came and out and made it such an enjoyable day. Thanks to those who came out early, but particular thanks to those who came out extra extra early: Jeff, Trish, Tahlia, Swifty and Spurlo.
And a massive thanks to Mel for taking care of desk duties and keeping us all on schedule!
